We live in a beautiful world

By 10:14 p.m.

Like a Caspar David Friedrich painting, there are landscapes that you hardly forget. These images are guaranteed to last a lifetime. In a few words, there are places with such an amazing energy, that after you visit them, the inspiration sticks with you. And moments like that, where you can let nature speak to you, renew your soul and give you new strength. The pictures below are part of a large collection of great memories from places I've visited. Every single photo has its story, but in the end, that story has the same aim: to marvel at the sheer power of nature.
We live in a beautiful world, yeah we do.

I live for beautiful sunsets: the Plansee near Reutte, Tyrol, Austria

This pic was taken by my friend Giuseppina Caterina, when we were on our way to Otavalo, north of Quito, Ecuador

When traveling by bus to Cuenca, you get to see the most amazing landscapes: El Cañar province, Ecuador

So far one of the best trips: El Cañar Province, Ecuador

I took this picture during the coffee tour at Finca Lérida, Boquete, Panamá. It was one foggy morning...
When taking this picture, I wanted to capture daily life of fishermen in the Guayas River, Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Another unforgettable sunset: Guayas Province, Ecuador
El Cajas National Park in the pronvince of Azuay, Ecuador. Its only 30 kms from Cuenca. The name derives from the Quichua word "cassa" which means gateway to the snowy mountains

Few words can describe the moment when I was taking this picture. The Alps are a part of my sweetest childhood memories.
Bogotá by night as seen from the Monserrate was breathtaking to me

Barú Volcano, Boquete, Panamá

My father and I at the pyramids of Teotihuacán, México. A dream come true.

The stunning Cayambe Volcano can be seen from everywhere at the town Tabacundo, north of Quito, Ecuador
On a visit to Granada, Spain, President Bill Clinton said he saw the best sunsets in the world. I totally agree. Photo taken while walking the Albayzín district.

The last stop of a great trip: La Malagueta beach, Málaga, Spain

A view of the Tajo (Tagus river) on its way across Toledo
Las Palmas waterfall in Veraguas Province, Panama
This picture is to me the best one I've taken so far. The moment, the place, everything was right.
Listen to the world, like a kid that marvels at everything. Cherish a feeling of love and admiration for the entire creation, from the smallest blade of grass to the farthest star. That way you'll find again the lost harmony.
